SOUTH KOREAN VISA INFORMATION FOR UK RESIDENTS

Visa for Korea
Korean Tourist Visa
Korean tourist visa is issued for a limited time of leisure travel and no business activities allowed.
  • Fully completed visa application form for Korea and statutary declaration
  • Passport size photographs
  • Valid national passport and one copy
  • Original of valid visa if you are national of another country and one copy
  • Your latest bank statement and one copy
  • Confirmation letter from your travel health insurance stating the coverage and one copy
  • Reference letter from your employer or education establishment
  • Proof of group travel/ hotel reservation in Korea / airline ticket reservation for Korea and one copy
  • Visa fees for Korean visa

Korean Business Visa
Korean business visa is for partaking in short term commerce in Korea. Please click on Korean visa requirments for the current business visa requirements of Korea.
Other Types of Korean Visas
Korean Transit visa, is valid for 3 days or less, for transferring through port in Korea to a third destination.

On-arrival visa for Korea is granted at a port of entry. This is distinct from not requiring a visa at all, as the visitor sholud still get the visa before they can in fact seek to pass through immigration.

Student visa for Korea, which permits its holder to study at an institution of higher education in Korea.

Korean temporary worker visa, is for people to work in an organisation in Korea.

Spousal visa or partner visa, granted to the spouse, civil partner or de facto partner of a resident or Korean citizen.

Korean Marriage visa is granted for a long period prior to civil partnership wedding based on a proven relationship with a citizen or resident of Korea.
